Welcome to Gendai Reiki Hō at YOU ARE NIRVANA

Step into the ancient current of healing with Gendai Reiki Hō, a spiritual and practical Reiki system rooted in traditional Japanese Reiki as taught by Mikao Usui and preserved by Hiroshi Doi, the founder of the Gendai Reiki Healing Association and a member of the original Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai.

At YOU ARE NIRVANA, our in-person Gendai Reiki courses are more than certifications — they are initiations into a lifestyle of peace, compassion, and energetic alignment. Each level builds upon the next, offering tools, philosophy, and practices to help you evolve as both a healer and a soul on a path of self-realization.

All classes are taught by Hilda Jimenez, Shihan, a certified Gendai Reiki Teacher trained under the direct lineage of Hiroshi Doi. Classes are kept small, intentional, and personal — infused with spiritual teachings, sacred space, and hands-on energy work.

Gendai Reiki Hō Certification Levels

Level I – Shoden

“The Beginning of Light”

1-Day Class | 5-6 Hours . Includes Official Gendai Manual (English), Reiju, and Certification

This is the beginner’s initiation into Reiki energy. In Shoden, you’ll learn how to connect with Reiki for self-healing and to support others. You’ll receive four Reiju (attunements) that open your energetic channels and align you with the frequency of universal life force.

Level II – Okuden

“The Inner Teachings”

1-Day Class | 4–5 Hours Includes Manual, Reiju, Symbols, and Certification.

In Okuden, you’re introduced to the three sacred symbols of Reiki that allow you to channel energy with intention, focus, and across distance. This level opens the doorway to mental/emotional healing, remote healing, and advanced energy refinement.

Level III – Shinpiden

1-Day Class | 4–5 Hours. Includes Manual, Reiju to the Master Symbol, and Certification.

Shinpiden is the spiritual heart of the Gendai Reiki system. Here, you’ll receive the Fourth (Master) Symbol and deepen your embodiment of Reiki as a spiritual path. This level is less about technique and more about cultivating inner mastery.

4-Day Class | 4–5 Hours Per Day. Includes Full Teaching Manual, Reiju Training, and Shihan Certification.

Gokuikaiden is the Teacher’s Path, where you are initiated as a Shihan — empowered to pass on Reiju and teach all four levels of Gendai Reiki Hō. This training honors the sacred responsibility of becoming a Reiki lineage bearer and spiritual guide.
